Having had the delight's of type 1 diabetes for 32 year's, a few ups and downs have occurred yet nothing too heavy thankfully, that was until 5 years ago, partner became ill, long story but it took over 4 years to diagnose his condition and he had DBS surgery last Jan. I've been his carer ever since, then 2 years ago I also had a 2 week stay in hospital after major surgery and a long recovery yet returned to work after 6 months and continue to care for my partner but over the last year all I long for is some me time, some sleep and to scream very loud at anyone who looks at me, never mind talks to me. My patience is non existent, vile temper and general moody sulky self some days should be locked up, and just to add to all my joy's, I'm also showing signs of perimenopause ? I do wonder how I keep going some day's??????????? My novel has now finished, sorry if this rant has bored you to sleep, I do still managed to have a very good sense of humour and wear a smile on my face when ever I'm in public, I think ?
