I think we would like to have been prevented of the possibility of developping diabetic nephropathy especially seeing that my husband has high blood pressure. We would have probably done blood tests even more often to spot it as early as possible. We knew problems with kindeys could arise but we were never told what exactly to expect and in what circumstances. We didn't know he was at risk. So I would say - more information is needed
