Thank you for opening up this discussion.
It seems Covid is once again on the rise due to new variants etc. I will continue to wear my mask on public transport, and my lanyard in shopping centres.
Hopefully, after 2 vaccinations and the booster, I will not catch it but who knows? It can still happen.

When 2% of the country gets to tell everyone else how to live, that’s true oppression. Now their masks, literal and metaphorical, are coming off and they fear
that more than anything else because power can simply be defined as a
question of who has to accommodate whom? When pilots and flight attendants announced the end of the mask mandate
in-flight, most passengers cheered. Everyone except the media which
claimed the masked were the victims.

Hi, tested positive for covid 2 days ago, today I feel like I have been beaten up, sore throat, headache from hell, eyes hurt, nauseous and generally feeling bluerghhh. I received a call from NHS last night to say I am eligible for treatment due to having RA and meds that I am on, methotrexate, toxcimulab injections, levothyroxine, ramipril, bendroflumethiazide and Lansoprazole. My question is, has anyone else had covid and received this treatment. Usually it is via IV but my authority can't fit me in this week so it is going to be tablets, 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening for 5 days. Couldn't catch the name of them over the phone

Hello,
I'm opening this new discussion so that we could continue talking about Covid-19, now that I have closed the comments in the "Covid-19: How do you feel today?" discussion, as it has become too long and difficult to follow.
Feel free to discuss the pandemic and share your own experience, as always.
As you know, Covid-19 is still there, and some fear a new wave in the nearest future. There is also the issue of long covid, of the new Portuguese variant, and so on. There is still a lot to talk about
However, I'd like to draw your attention once again to the fact that this forum is a safe environment for people with chronic conditions to share information and get support. So please make sure you remain friendly and polite, and try to avoid delicate subjects.
So, what's new?
