Spicy salmon with avocado salsa

Ingredients 2 Number of people

For salmon

2 pc salmon 

1 tsp cumin (ground)

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp salt

 

For salsa

2 ripe avocados

1/2 red onion, finely copped

Juice of 2 limes

2 tbs fresh, chopped cilantro (1 tsp dried, ground cilantro works too)

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Mix all the spices and rub it on the salmon (not on the skin side). Set to rest while preparing the avocado salsa.

Mash avocados and add lime juice, cilantro, red onion and taste with salt and pepper.

When salsa is ready, put salmon on a hot pan with olive oil and fry until cooked to your liking. 

Notes/Tips

I usually make a nice salad to go with the dish (preferably with some brown rice or quinoa to get a carb in there).
