Symptoms include abdominal pain and cramping, diarrhoea, and blood and mucus in the stool.
SIGNS OF CROHN'S DISEASE
Some features are more specific for Crohn's disease, permitting it to be distinguished from ulcerative colitis. Anal abscesses and fistulas are characteristic, and nutritional deficiency and weight loss are much more common in Crohn's disease.
Extra-digestive manifestations of the disease may also be observed, particularly affecting the joints, skin and eyes.
