Medication indications

Candesartan 16mg Tablets

Candesartan 16mg Tablets is indicated for the:

- Treatment of essential hypertension in adults

- Treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents aged 6 to <18 years.

- The treatment of adult patients with heart failure and impaired left ventricular systolic function (left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40%) when ACE-inhibitors are not tolerated or as add-on therapy to ACE inhibitors in patients with symptomatic heart failure, despite optimal therapy, when mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists are not tolerated (see sections 4.2, 4.4, 4.5 and 5.1).

Candesartan 32mg Tablets

Candesartan 32mg Tablets is indicated for the:

- Treatment of essential hypertension in adults

- Treatment of hypertension in children and adolescents aged 6 to <18 years.

- The treatment of adult patients with heart failure and impaired left ventricular systolic function (left ventricular ejection fraction ≤ 40%) when ACE-inhibitors are not tolerated or as add-on therapy to ACE inhibitors in patients with symptomatic heart failure, despite optimal therapy, when mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists are not tolerated (see sections 4.2, 4.4, 4.5 and 5.1).

Candesartan 4mg Tablets is indicated for the:

  So far everything seems to be ok havent really noticed any change apart from feeling very tired and exhausted still get breathless so to me it's no different than last time as I have so many life threatening illnesses and fighting cancer have gone ok for 2 yrs but havent got results from my recent mammogram but still have a way to go before I get the absolute all clear I have everything crossed Tigger

It should say used to take lisinipril but now canderstartan, not canderstan that is a cream I use for my lymphoedema canderstartan is what I have for my hypertension sorry if I confused anyone love Tiger xxx

i have been on this tablet for 15 years on a low dose 4mg recently i have been put on 16mg because my blood pressure had changed but not too bad it is now under control all because of my fibromyalgia

I used to take lisinipril but because I have emphysema as well as copd so my specialist decided to stop this medication and he put me on canderstan I am still having breathing problems as just walking from the toilet to the chair I get breathless so I have to use my ventolin but now I am going to have rehabilitation exercise I start this this week I am a bit nervous because I dont know what to expect but I will let you all know how I get on lots of love tiggs
