Hi everyone,

How are you feeling today? 😊

I’d like to revisit the topic of the anti-inflammatory diet, which has come up several times in our forum. While it’s often linked to specific health conditions, the truth is, everyone can benefit from it!

An anti-inflammatory diet focuses on reducing chronic inflammation in the body by emphasizing foods rich in antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, and fibre. This includes fresh fruits and vegetables, oily fish, nuts, seeds, and spices like turmeric and ginger, while cutting down on refined sugars, saturated fats, and processed foods.

Following this kind of diet can help manage chronic disease symptoms and even improve overall health.

Have you tried following an anti-inflammatory diet? Have you noticed any improvements in how you feel? What foods do you include to help reduce inflammation? Do you have any favourite recipes or tips for incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods into your daily meals?

I changed to this diet in March ,although I've used ginger turmeric and green tea for yrs ,I had a very bad flare up in March I couldn't get out of bed or hold my arms up for over 10 days. My knees were huge and my hips were sore my wrist ached so much and I couldn't brush my hair my scalp was so sore , so I changed my diet cut red meat ,cut down on my dairy (cheese )being my staple and started making my own teas ginger turmmeric lemon manuka , eating fish chicken and fresh veg spinach kale cauliflower and sprouts lots of garlic and onion and barley , I am now 7 months later so much better ,my knee pain is minimal in just one knee my overall pain is none really haven't taken pain meds for 5 months my hair is better my mood is better my skin is better I do have a day off occasionally if I go to a function and there's cake or a suckling pig but overall for me this has worked 💯

Hi @Thiggs,

Thank you for sharing such a powerful story! It’s inspiring to hear how much of a difference this diet has made for you. It sounds like it took a lot of dedication and adjustment, but the rewards are incredible. Love that you allow yourself some flexibility for special occasions. 😊 If you have any go-to recipes or tips for someone just starting, I know the community would appreciate them!

Take care,
Somya from the Carenity Team 🌼
