Been for my flu and covid jab today my arm really aches and I feel really tired, but hopefully it will protect from being ill, as having a lot of life threatening illnesses I can't afford not to get protected as I don't need anything else and covid does scare me, does anyone else feel the same or are they not going to bother hopefully all will be good

@Tigger.co.uk Hi,
It sounds like your arm is really feeling it today! 😅 It’s completely normal to feel tired after the flu and COVID jabs, especially when your body is working hard to build that protection. It’s great that you’re prioritising your health — with everything else you’re managing, staying protected is so important.
Do you usually get these side effects with vaccines, or was this stronger than usual? How do you usually manage the tiredness afterward? And for those reading along, do you get your flu and COVID jabs every year, or do you sometimes skip them?
Have a great day,
Somya from the Carenity Team

After seeing my haematologist a couple of weeks ago, I feel wonderful! I may still have all the aches and pains that go with autoimmune problems, but, I no longer have stage 4 follicular lymphoma!! Rather than raised lymph nodes all the way down my oesophagus I now have one, just below my aorta, and at 1.3cm in size, not enough to worry about. I'm now on 6 monthly phone appointments and couldn't be happier.
Having several health conditions to manage, along with everything that goes with them doesn't bother me at all, I have them all in my phone to remind me and they're what keep me in decent health. Without them, I would be dead I am sure, so having to visit doctors, specialists, nurses, pharmacists (although mine delivers), keeps everything ticking over nicely, without them I'd be a mess (wouldn't we all) and above all, it is all FREE! Unlike our counterparts across the pond.

@YorkshireJayne Hi,
Wow, what incredible news — that must feel like such a relief after everything you’ve been through! 🎉 It’s inspiring to read how you’re managing multiple health conditions so proactively and with such a positive outlook.
How did you develop this system of reminders and organisation for your treatments? Has it made a big difference to your day-to-day life? And when you got the news from your haematologist, how did you celebrate this milestone?
Have a great day,

I'm totally satisfied with my progress when it comes to vaccines, doctors appointments, blood tests and more.
I was taught at a young age to think of oneself, make sure one stays healthy and ask for advice if required. My GP is great and so is my Epilepsy Nurse.

I always have my flu and covid jab, and when I feel tired I always try to relax and rest up that usually helps but at the moment I have been in lots of pain on my right side, had to have another full blood test on my liver, was told that my (plateletts) is still elevated so he sent me for a chest x-ray this I had today but I have to wait 7days for my results I just hope my cancer hasn't come back on my opposite side as I have had a mastectomy on my left 7yrs ago but I am in remission, and I already suffer with lymphodema in my left arm and wrist, plus I have many other life threatening illnesses so this would be something else to worry about with my diabetes recently added to all the other illnesses as well fingers crossed it isn't anything else to worry about
