Hello everyone,
How are you today?
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common causes of female infertility.
There are drugs that stimulate oocyte production and others that induce ovulation. These treatments are not the most common in a fertility clinic, and must be closely monitored by the specialist who prescribed them.
There is a risk of hyperstimulation or multiple pregnancy. The ovarian response of PCOS patients is higher than that of other women, due to the large number of follicles contained in their ovaries.
Fertility treatments such as artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization have shown high pregnancy rates for PCOS patients.
What about you? Have you ever wanted to become pregnant? What stages did you go through?

Take care,
Lizzi from the Carenity team
