Ibuprofen is still an NSAID, it still damages your stomach lining, so be careful.

I’ve been taking Nefopam for about 8 years now and it really helped the horrible nagging pain I had in my hips. I had been on Co-Codamol, Tramadol and Naproxen, as well as Amitryptiline which made me feel so groggy the next day that I stopped and it didn’t do anything for my pain. Nor did either Pregabalin or Gabapentin. I now have Oxycodone (SR) and Nefopam, which take the edge off, just enough to have a life

I was prescribed this during a flair as other options would clash with my ssri and amytripaline which gp didn't feel comfortable changing, I used this and codeine to get me through a flair then chose to ask for nefopam instead of codeine as my prn ie regular pain relief with pregabalin, paracetamol and ibuprofen (try to avoid nsaids as previously had a stomach bleed meaning an extra tab on top (reaching 40 a day messed my head up (more than a prolific smoker))) I have now found after having some time without codeine it has become more effective again when I am struggling exponentially to enable me to grab a couple of hours of much needed sleep.
