Living with bipolar disorder can affect more than mood and energy.

During mania or hypomania, some people may feel more confident, impulsive or willing to take risks. That can sometimes show up in everyday decisions, including shopping and spending money.

Something that feels completely reasonable in the moment may look very different once your mood changes.
