How are you doing today?
Since 2018, at the initiative of the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN), 23 July marks World Castleman Disease Day. The CDCN is a US-based organisation the aim of which is to accelerate the search for treatments for Castleman disease. It facilitates collaboration between researchers around the world, invests in high-impact research and supports patients and their families.
For World Castleman Day, the CDCN is organising a large virtual event which will take place at 00:00 (UK time) on the night of 21-22 July.
The event is in English, and the replay of 2020 edition can be found here: World Castleman Disease Day Virtual Gathering
To show your support and to help promote research in the field of Castleman disease, on World Castleman Disease Day you can dress in blue, and share a photo of you on social media, adding a caption "Happy World Castleman Disease Day" and a hashtag #CDDay. You are also welcome to share your photo in this thread! 😎
You can also make a donation to the CDCN via this form right here!
Or buy the official CDCN World Day 2022 t-shirt, to help fund the search for the treatment!
On World Castleman Disease Day, we celebrate the courage of all patients and their loved ones who are facing the disease, and help raise public awareness!
