Community managerHello @Moiras, thank you for opening this discussion. Are you going through a recurrence of your lung cancer? I know it can be stressful and scary to get that sort of news. Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you.
Hi all, how are you doing?
Have any of you been through a recurrence of your lung cancer? If so, how did you face it? If not, is it something you think about? How do you deal with the worry?

Hi. I had a successful Ivor Lewis stomach/ oesophaguse surgery back in 1989. Broke my leg in May 2021 and diagnosed with lung cancer . Sep 2021 had CT and lung biopsy to confirm nsc lung cancer stage 4. Dec 2021 Had MRI to lung , kidney and brain areas- diagnosed Met to brain and kidney.. Have decided to take the path of palliative care. I had targeted radiotherapy to the small brain tumour to try to manage/stop growth as could cause paralysis. My EOL plan to enjoy day to day. Be as little trouble as possible to friends and family. I have got my head around most stuff but it's the little things that niggle, like not being able to drive a car . Any way - stay positive.
