I've been told I now have SPMS after 15 years of slow progressive decline, when initially told it was sensory benign!

Thanks for your message Ian I've had MS for 17 years now and not walked for about a year, but I can stand for about a 90 seconds at the moment.
But for most of the time I'm in a wheelchair.
What do you mean " give mine up" driving?
I'm suprised that I'm still not fed up yet,but I do know it will only get worse now.
The clock is ticking faster now!

@Michelle47 I also have severe headaches/migraines for up to 5 days which don’t seem to go with drugs all of them time and then only taking the edge of. May not be MS related but my gut tells me they are. I’ve found that cutting diary out has helped, and avoiding too much sugar and definitely no aspartame. Hope they get better for you!

Hi guys, im new to this site.i was diagnosed RRMS in 2014. Just wanted to pick your brains!! I was told ive just had spinal relapse in Oct last year, had MRI 2 weeks ago and they have said no new lesions. I have been struggling with walking as right leg is weak with horrific spasms and now same in right arm. I have a tremor in left leg. Im soooo confused to what is going on, havent got a follow up app till 17th March. I feel so fed up. Feel like I'm imagining all these symptoms.
Can there be decline with no lesions????
Jackie.

There are three different types of MS:
1. Relapsing remitting MS - RRMS
2. Primary profressive MS - PPMS
3. Secondary progressive MS - SPMS
What type is your MS? How did you find out about your type? What tests did you have to do to determine it?
