Since joining I'm having a hard time seeing just how this site is organised. It seems to be all over the place. Sometimes I can find things, then I can't. There doesn't seem to be one central place with all the discussions listed.

On "Normal" discussion boards if you "subscribe" to a discussion you are emailed every time there is a response. Not wanting to be bombarded with emails I have learned to never "subscribe" to discussions. Here that means something else; Confusing.

Neither can I find an explanation as to how the site works. If this is to be a community, would it not be better to organise it along similar lines to other on line communities? Then those that are familiar with them will feel at home, and those that are new will learn how more standard communities are structured.

If I am finding this how many people are finding the same and leaving without saying anything?

Hello @Crackaig Thanks for your feedback and know that we are actually trying to redesign all the site to bring you all a better service, so stay tuned, cause next year Carenity will have another face ;)

About your problems. To see a list of all discussions you can either go to My discussions to see the discussions to which you are subscribes, to Recent discussions to see the discussions that have been recently created and correspond to a group you are subscribed to, or Active discussions to see the discussions to which you are subscribed that have been recently commented.

In here for the subscription is a bit different, you need to subscribe in order to participate, but you will also have notifications if there is activity. This notifications you can stop them if you go to your settings and change that mode. So briefly, you need to subscribe to participate and receive notifications, but you can stop the emails through your settings.

We are not like other sites, because we propose more things than regular sites, you can follow your health thanks to the dashboard and you can give your opinion thanks to surveys and polls.

We thank your interest for understanding better the site and rest assured that every time you need help to understand the site we are here to help.

Best,

Gilda

Do any ladies suffer any anxiety/or depression  from using the mirena coil? I am having problems with dealing with my anxiety levels which is making me feel quite ill. And I have been on the mirena coil a few years ago. It was a walk in the park this time It's making me feel ill. I would like to hear from other ladies. I am at present awaiting a date to have it removed.

Well said, Crackaig. I couldn't agree more. To be honest, I am still not sure what Carenity is all about.

I really do think that once you get used to the site it is really easy, for me it really helped the Carenity's presentation page https://member.carenity.co.uk/home?presentation and the FAQ and also ask Gilda for help.

If someone wants help I can help you too.

Cheers

How I agree with Treadwater. I'm not sure what carenity is all about either. I'm getting so fed up with all the emails, one every day is too much. There are too many articles and it has become far too time consuming. It's not what I thought it was going to be when I joined. The site is not straightforward and some of the English is very badly written. Sorry I'm just being honest.

I agree it's not very well laid out and is pretty hard to navigate. I ignore most of my emails anyway so that doesn't bother me plus it reminds me to sign in. I definitely think this will have put others off though which is a shame.
