Hello everybody,

Carenity team has been working for months on a new version of the website in order to provide you with a better space for sharing, getting information and giving your opinion.

The new website will be easier to navigate and more user-friendly which will allow you to benefit from all the site's functions and opportunities (even the ones you have never seen before ). There will be 3 major sections on the site: SHARE, GET INFORMED, GIVE MY OPINION. This structure will allow you to find content on Carenity much quicker and easier. Moreover, the new version will be much more beautiful due to a nice design and new colours

The site will be ready in the middle of November and before its launch we will share with you, little by little, the new elements of Carenity so that you could gradually get used to the novelty and learn to use the new website.

Meanwhile, we wish you an excellent day and hope you'll enjoy learning to use the new Carenity together with us!

Yours faithfully,

Carenity Team

I have had my knee replaced and my hip on the left hand side, now I have bad pain in the right hand knee and hip, can anyone recommend socks I can wear that will not squeeze my swollen ankles to much.

Hello,

Today we want to share with you the new site’s organization!

Today the configuration of the site is as follows: My Health – My opinions – My friends – My groups – Health Info where you can find different rubrics.

To make the navigation easier we have simplified everything and turned it into only 3 main rubrics: SHARE – INFORM – GIVE MY OPINION which will give access to the rest of the features.

The new site plan is as follows:

SHARE

>My friends

>Forum

INFORM

>My condition

>Health magazine

GIVE MY OPINION

>Surveys

We will soon explain you more about this new organization.

See you soon!

Hello everyone,

As promised, every week we will share with you a little tip on how tip on how to use the new version of Carenity that will be available in the middle of November.

Today, we’ve decided to explain to you the SHARE section of the new website.
This section will consist of two sub-sections: “My friends” and “Forum”. The current names for these features are “My friends” and “My groups”.

MY FRIENDS
-    You will find the newsfeed that also exists on the current website under the name of “My newsfeed”. It is pretty much the same idea: you will see the news from your friends’ accounts. The contents of the page “Who has viewed my profile” will be available at the bottom of the newsfeed page.
-    You will also be able to access your friends list, look through their profiles and send them a private message.
-    The option of looking for new members will also stay and you will be able to search for members according to the criteria that you’ve chosen: gender, age, condition, relation to the condition (patient, family, etc), country, zip code, login or medication.

FORUM
Here you will be able to interact with other members. All your discussions will be saved there and it will be easy to find them.
-    You could access the latest comments that have been posted in the discussions
-    You will have access to your discussions: the discussions to which you are subscribed
-    You will also find all your discussion groups (depending on your condition) as well as common groups that are open for all the members. They contain discussions that could be interesting for everyone because they concern general health issue topics (for example, Good to know, News from the media, Fun and games, etc)

Here is a reminder of what the new website’s structure will look like:

SHARE
    >My friends
    >Forum

GET INFORMED
    >My condition
    >Health Magazine (news and recipes)

GIVE MY OPINION
    >Surveys

Next time we will explain the GET INFORMED section.

If you have questions, feel free to post them here in this discussion.

Best regards,

Margarita

Hello,

Today we are going to explain in details the "GET INFORMED" section of the new website!

This section will contain the tags "My condition(s)", and "Health Magazine". In the old version, they were (and still are) named "My health - conditions" and "Health info".

MY CONDITION(S):

 - you will find in this section the condition(s) that you have added to your account, and the information on this (these) condition(s): forum newsfeed, community, testimonials, etc.

- in this section you will also have the opportunity to search for a condition in order to get more information on it, and/or add it to your profile.

NB: the forums you see are all related to the condition(s) that you have added to your profile. For example, if you have added arthritis as your condition, the discussions that you will see in the SHARE section (Share => Forum) will all be about arthritis.

HEALTH MAGAZINE:

- you will find in this section medical news from the media, articles on medical breakthrough, and recipes added by other members

- you will also be able to add your own recipe and share it with others.

To remind you, this is how the new website's structure will look like:

SHARE

>My friends

>Forum

GET INFORMED

>My condition(s)

>Health magazine

GIVE MY OPINION

>Surveys

Next time we will explain the "GIVE MY OPINION" section.

____________

If you have questions or wish to have more details, please don't hesitate to comment on this discussion!

Have a nice evening!

Hi everyone,

Today we are going to introduce you the third section of the new website « GIVE MY OPINION ». This section will contain the “Surveys” function. In the old (current ) version of the website, you can find it in « My opinion » section.

 SURVEYS:

- you will be able to contribute to medical progress by participating (anonymously!) in our surveys.

- if the survey concerns your condition you will be able to access the results, even if you haven’t answered the survey

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to comment this discussion.

In case you forgot, here is the structure of the new website:

 SHARE

>My friends

>Forum

GET INFORMED

>My condition(s)

>Health magazine

GIVE MY OPINION

>Surveys

________________________

Just a little more patience, and  you will soon discover the new website !

Kind regards,

Team Carenity

Hi everyone,

We are happy to anounce that the new website is here! smile-big.png

We invite you to look around, explore the new structure and find the old tools and features you used to see every day on Carenity. Meanwhile, we will explain you the reasons for this change.

So, why the new website ?

Before we decided to switch to this new version of Carenity, we were regularly contacted by members who found the site too complicated. This persuaded us to create a new website, more functional and user-friendly, and here is what we focused on:

-    Fewer tabs in the menu: 6 sections on the old version versus 3 on the new one;
-    Fewer intermediary pages, which gives you a quicker access to the site’s features;
-    More content thanks to GET INFORMED section which contains all the information on your condition (via Fact sheets) and different articles about  health.

The Carenity team understands that this implies the change of habits but we are positive that you will get used to the new interface very quickly. Rest assured that we are here to accompany you in this time of change and will be glad to help you discover the new Carenity.

What are your first impressions? Were you able to find your discussions and friends?

Don't hesitate to share your feedback with us!

Have a nice day! wink.png

Margarita and all the Carenity team
