Hi everyone! 😊

How are you all doing today?

The 2024 Paralympic Games are in full swing in Paris! This incredible event brings together athletes with disabilities from around the world 🌍 to showcase their amazing talent and determination. While the Paralympics often don't receive the same media attention as the Olympics, they are a powerful platform to shine a light on extraordinary performances and the overcoming of hardships. 🌟

In our community, where many of us face the daily challenges of chronic illness, I believe the Paralympic Games hold special significance. They are not just a sporting event, but a powerful symbol of resilience and perseverance. 💪

How do you all feel about the Paralympic Games? Are you following any of the events? And what are your thoughts on the media coverage of the Paralympics? 📰

Have any Paralympic athletes or particular moments from the Games especially inspired or impressed you? 🙌

Let’s have a discussion that not only celebrates these incredible sports achievements 🏅 but also helps us better understand the challenges and successes of these athletes. I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences related to the Paralympic Games!

Take care now,

Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

I admire all the athletes that compete as disabled people. They do better than those who have already been to the Olympic Games.
