Yes and loving it, women have lived longer for centuries due to their sedentary lifestyle. Now they are being forced into work and their life expectancy is falling more into line with men, so history has the real answer. What we do know exercise and manual work destroys our joints, backs etc. so balance is essential. Plus the surgeons state that you need a little meat on you to survive serious operations/treatments, certainly a fact as we get older. So sedentary lifestyles are not all negative and have many positive values, any extremes of fitness and obesity have their downsides too!

Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
With more desk jobs, longer commutes, and evenings spent watching TV or scrolling on our phones, many of us end up sitting far more than we realize. But did you know that spending more than 6 to 8 hours a day sitting can increase your risk of chronic illnesses, even if you exercise regularly?
From back pain and fatigue to heart disease or low mood, a sedentary lifestyle can take a real toll on health and wellbeing.
💬 So let’s talk:

Warmly,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
