Hi everyone, how are you doing today? 👋

With 24/7 headlines, social media updates, and constant notifications, it’s easy to feel like we’re always surrounded by stressful news: wars, climate change, political unrest, health scares… the list goes on.

For many people living with a chronic illness, this added layer of worry can feel overwhelming. It might bring up anxiety, worsen fatigue, or just make it harder to find moments of peace.

💬 How do you feel when you follow the news?

Do you limit your exposure, or do you try to stay informed no matter what?

Have certain stories affected you more than others?

Do you ever feel guilt, anger, helplessness, or even numbness?

And most importantly: what helps you cope?

You’re not alone if it feels like too much. Let’s talk about it, kindly and openly, right here.

Take care,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼

Most of the news is sensational rubbish and it means you have to check it out in different ways, tv channels social media and newspapers to make up your own mind.

So much to worry about, especially when thinking of continuity of healthcare - or even availability of healthcare. The rest of the situation enrages me, but the future of my healthcare scares the heck out of me.

I listen to the news on television regularly so that I stay up to date. It does not affect my mental health at all.
