No, issues for money as a crip I was not working at the time so quite use to low income that did not vary during my treatment. But what I did notice when approaching charities for help there was none, all they wanted was contributions. Perhaps the best one was dealing with the hospice who did provide respite in the latter stages of dying. That was very useful at the time as we were all exhausted in the later stages, the overnight watch allowed us to recharge. From the British Heart Foundation, MacMillan and Diabetic Charities were useless, just a few leaflets, not allowing us to address our deep concerns of treatment!
