Hello everyone,

How are you doing today?

Everyone has experienced digestive issues in their lives. Some are small, like a tummy ache, but others can be more serious, more destructive, and more chronic that don't go away and really affect someone's daily life.

What do you do to manage digestive problems? What do you do when your stomach hurts, burns, pains, or other wise make you uncomfortable? How do you control your this? What advice can you give someone just starting to discover they may have a serious problem?

I'll tag a few members to get us started:

In the past circa 1993 after surgery I became affected by a yeast infection issue. More recently in the course of checking my prostate and bladder I had a CT Scan that revealed a rare condition Mesenteric Panniculitis. This is an inflammation of the supporting tissue in the abdomen and can vary in mild to severe symptoms requiring attention depending on the severity.

Treatment may require medication and dietary changes to manage the condition. It's unknown why this occurs and is found as in my case when investigating other symptoms. In my case it is thankfully not too serious but one needs to be mindful of changes that may develop over time.
