Hello everyone,

How are you doing today?

With colder and wetter weather on the way, it’s time to take extra steps to prevent seasonal illnesses like colds, the flu, and respiratory infections, especially if you’re living with a chronic condition. These infections can worsen existing symptoms and make managing your condition even more challenging. 🤧

Some key precautions can be:

  • Getting the flu vaccine,
  • Maintaining good hygiene (regular handwashing),
  • Eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins to boost immunity,
  • Wearing a mask in crowded places,
  • Avoiding stress and overexertion to keep the immune system strong.

What measures do you take to avoid winter illnesses while managing your chronic condition?  Have you noticed that certain seasonal infections make your chronic symptoms worse? If so, how do you handle them? Do you use any natural methods like vitamin C, zinc, or other supplements to support your immune system?

Because the benefits of unhindered public networking far outweighs any, covid induced, preventative measures, I engage everyone at a normal conversation distance.
