Hello everyone!,

How are you today? emoticon bashful

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men's health projects around the world! To learn more about the movement and the foundation, feel free to read out dedicated article: Who is Movember, the charity that fights for men's health around the world?

Do you want to get involved in Movember?
We'd like to invite you to Make a Move for Movember with Carenity! The goal is simple: get moving in whatever way you can! Take the stairs, do some yoga, some weight training exercises, a few steps around your home! emoticon bashful

So, are you read to participate?
Every day, share the number of steps you took during the day, and all the physical activities you did!

You can also join the movement organised by the Movember Foundation by just clicking here:
https://uk.movember.com/get-involved/move

Happy challenge! ????

Take care,
Courtney

@Courtney_J My achievement this afternoon was to cycle my trike 5 miles. I then had problems with my right leg not behaving itself....it went to sleep & I ended up in a heap on the verge. Thankfully a kind driver stopped to help me. 🙈 MS is so frustrating at times. I used to be very active; I do still like to challenge myself, but MS gets in the way & puts a stop to what I can do.

I had to laugh when I saw this post about Movember - it is very appropriate. Although I did feel rather daft this afternoon when I was help up onto my not just once, but 2times, by different people.

I now ache from my falls today. I am still determined to keep on moving. For as long as I can, MS will not stop me  moving! Even been wild swimming this month until another fall stopped me for a few weeks when I badly damaged my hand. It still hurts just now.  Meant a trip to A&E but thankfully nothing is broken just badly bruised & swollen. Thanks MS!!💪🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏇🏊‍♀️ However, I won't let MS stop me moving for aslong as I can help it!

I have just joined as well as COPD I have chronic pain so my activities are very limited I do like to which takes longer than it used to but you have to accept that things will not get better so I tend to stay happy and do the things I enjoy like driving and politics so that certainly keeps me occupied. At the moment not driving because I am not out to much except for my blood test once a month I chat a lot on FB just to keep my mind active and keep up with family and friends and the politics of course you cannot just sit and do nothing that’s when you let your illness get you down

@weefeemcdee Hello weefeemcdee, thank you for your comment! That's wonderful that you stay so active through your MS! Keep up the fantastic work! 💪

Has everyone else been able to stay active despite being in lockdown?

Take care,
Courtney
