@sadsack I'm with you! Apart from flu and tonsillitis, I have never been so ill as I was with Covid (twice!), and after having the jabs twice, decided that it wasn't worth how ill I was after having those, only to be infected anyway!

@VICKICOFFEY You may not buy it, but those of us who have had the virus or know someone who died of it, know just how bad each new variant is.

Well I’ve read so much about COVID in the past few years and all the misinformation that government and health officials gave I would not trust them again as too many people died as a result of an untested vaccine,,I would never take a vaccine again

@YorkshireJayne Do your due diligence and read up on it--just dig and stay away from the main stream media and their lies. The media and CDC, et al, blatantly lied to all of us about it and continue to!

@VICKICOFFEY I don't need to, I lived through it, I saw people around me die of Covid; but you made the sweeping statement, you need to provide the back up and no conspiracy theorist ideas either!

It never went away, and as someone who has had two of the different variants, I don't want a third!
I won't start wearing a mask again, I hated that; but I will be careful about hugging others, where I go etc.
I won't have another jab though, I had the first and second, but was so ill after them that I vowed not to have another one. Then I got Covid and was extremely ill for a week, taking a further week to recover and test negative. That made me wonder just how effective it was so vowed not to have it again, and I haven't.

@VICKICOFFEY That is not your proof, that is an article online. I want to know your personal experience of this, how do you know it's true other than what you've been told by conspiracy theorists, what you've decided is true and what you've read online?
I'm not trying to be awkward or anything, I could go do a search and find arguments for and against it for myself. I've no knowledge of anyone I know having any side effects from either the virus or the vaccine, this is why I'm asking you for proof.

@VICKICOFFEY We actually weren't told that, we were told that it "may" prevent some from getting the virus but as it was an experimental vaccination, they were still learning about it; this article explains how it all went.
"There are still many unanswered questions as this is only interim data. We do not know if the vaccine stops you spreading the virus or just from developing symptoms. Or if it works equally well in high-risk elderly people. The biggest question - how long does immunity last - will take months or potentially years to answer. There are also massive manufacturing and logistical challenges in immunising huge numbers of people, as the vaccine has to be kept in ultra-cold storage at below minus 80C.The vaccine appears safe from the large trials so far but nothing, including paracetamol, is 100% safe. How does it work? There are around a dozen vaccines in the final stages of testing - known as a phase 3 trial - but this is the first to show any results. It uses a completely experimental approach - that involves injecting part of the virus's genetic code - in order to train the immune system. Previous trials have shown the vaccine trains the body to make both antibodies - and another part of the immune system called T-cells to fight the coronavirus."

Covid vaccine: First 'milestone' vaccine offers 90% protection
The vaccine is a "significant step" forward for getting life back to normal, but challenges remain.

@YorkshireJayne OMG enough with the "conspiracy theories". As I stated previously, do your due diligence and dig deep. Reports are everywhere similar to the report I posted. This is NOT a good "vaccine"!! I provide you medical proof in an article and you want more. Sorry, but I have the feeling you want to believe what you are being told in MSM (main stream media) and NOTHING the medical field produces will placate you.
I do NOT read MSM articles. I dig deep and read what actual doctors in the medical field as well as Medical Examiners write/post/video. The proof is in the reading/watching if you care to dig.

@YorkshireJayne Youre article is from 5yrs ago-2020--those lies were spread by the CDC, politicians and the media about the efficacy of this jab . Truth has come to light since then, as in the article I posted from Feb of 2025. I do not want to argue. I know the truth from all the reading I have done and the videos from medical Drs/ME's that I have spent countless hours watching. I see all the damage the jab has done and the people its harmed and killed. There is NO way to know the long term effects/affects of this jab. I'm sorry for those that have experienced Covid even after they took this jab. I have never had Covid and I refused to be jabbed.. I have friends and relatives that have the same mindset as you, and I just think its sad that people don't take the time to read the fine print or research what is actually in this stuff before they allow it in their bodies. Please, just don't believe everything you hear/read. Research for yourself. JHMO. Have an amazing rest of your week,

Both my husband and I have had all 3 COVID jabs and luckily haven't caught the virus in all these years. I'm cautious about who I socialise with and won't be hugging many. I won't wear a mask unless it's compulsory.

Hello everyone, how are you feeling today?
Just as life had started to settle into a new kind of normal, a new COVID-19 variant, called NB.1.8.1, or “Nimbus”, is making headlines across the UK and beyond. Health officials are warning that this highly transmissible strain is now spreading in the UK, with confirmed cases rising.
🧬 What do we know so far?
📈 For now, the variant is classified as under monitoring, meaning more data is needed, but with rising international cases, UK health professionals are urging caution, especially for vulnerable groups.
💭 Let’s talk about it:
For many in our community, especially those with chronic illnesses or weakened immune systems, news like this can be unsettling, exhausting, or even triggering. If you’re feeling unsure of how to respond, you’re not alone.
Whether you’re taking extra precautions or just keeping an eye on updates, your feelings are valid. There’s no one “right” way to move through this.
