Hi everyone yesterday I booked my flu and Covid jab I'm having mine next week, to help with all my underlining illnesses ie COPD, emphy emphysema, and many of the others, now, the weather has changed I am starting to wear my mask when going out as I can't handle the wind etc as I get so breathless when going out I can't stop coughing, well to be honest I cough just going from my chair to the toilet and being disabled don't help me either I take so many pills and inhalers it's a wonder I don't rattle when walking, I have started using my mobility scooter because it is a lot easier than walking with my rolator, as my pain in my legs doesn't help so what everything I think I'm ready for the knackers yard lol, hope you all OK love and hugs from Tigger.

Hi Tigger! 😊

Thank you for sharing with us. Even though it sounds like you’ve been through a lot, we love to see your sense of humor shining through! I’m glad you’ve scheduled your flu and COVID jabs, being proactive about your health is really important, especially with conditions like COPD and emphysema. And using your mobility scooter sounds like a smart move, after all it’s all about making things easier for yourself. Just take it one step (or scooter ride!) at a time. You’re doing everything you can to take care of yourself, and that’s something to be proud of! 🌟

Sending virtual hugs your way. If you ever want to chat or need a little encouragement, we’re all here for you! 🌻

And now I’m curious, has anyone else here got their flu or COVID shots recently? How did it go for you?

Well I've booked my flu jab but sadly my grandchild returned to school nearly a month ago and brought back a horrendous flu/cold. So we adults suffered terribly the last fornight or so with this appalling virus which has affected just about every organ/area of the body during its tour of our bodies. I think I may push for the jab early next year in line with returning to school rather than October. So a miserable time for us but I am finally getting some senses back, even smelling and taste were badly affected, life goes on!
