Hi everyone, how are you feeling today?

If you're living with high blood pressure or another heart-related condition, keeping track of your blood pressure at home can be a helpful way to manage your health between appointments.

  • Do you use a home blood pressure monitor (tensiometer)?
  • If so, how often do you check your numbers, and do you track them in a notebook or app?
  • Do you have any tips or habits that help you keep your blood pressure steady?

Just been put on medication for this. I'm being controlled by my GP at the moment until it settles down.

@lesmal Monitoring high blood pressure at home is very important for early detection and better health control. Using a reliable digital BP monitor, checking readings at the same time daily, and keeping a log can help you understand your condition more clearly. Always follow your doctor’s advice if readings stay high. [This content has been moderated by an administrator.]

@zavinclark52699 Thank you. Blood pressure settled down after being put on Ramipril as an extra blood pressure medication to Atenolol . I always have high cholesterol and have tried 5 different types of statins but my body just won't take them. Far too many side effects.
