Hey everyone!
How's it going? 😊

Stress can have a significant impact on blood pressure, and managing it is often a key part of living with hypertension. For some, it’s about mindfulness or yoga, while others might find comfort in hobbies, talking to loved ones, or simply enjoying a quiet moment.

  • How does stress affect your blood pressure?
  • What techniques or activities help you manage stress?
  • Are there any methods you’ve tried that haven’t worked as well for you?

Let’s share our experiences and ideas to support each other in finding calm amidst the chaos. 🌟

Take care,
Somya from the Carenity Team 🌼

Trying to keep my blood pressure down is very hard at present. I'm been suffering with symptoms that have caused my gallbladder lots of problems on top of chronic pain. As being in pain every day is hard enough, but to have this on top of all my condition has taken its toll on my body. Since May 24, I cannot eat anything but a jacket potato as everything else causes so much pain that I have passed out with. So trying to keep my blood pressure down has been hard. I'm on 3 blood pressure tablets and I do colouring or sewing to help with chilling out, to focus on something else than pain. Using mindfulness techniques as well. It does help. I just need to keep calm so that they is no problems when I finally get the operation I need to get better
