I recently went to my doctor to address my asthma that is triggered by pollen allergy. I've been getting really dizzy recently and thought it was possibly related to my Crohn's disease or perhaps I was not eating enough? I'm not sure, but I definitely did not think allergies caused dizziness. But here is your psa- it can. He said it had something to do with inner-ear mucus. Since ears regulate balance, clogged ears can affect your stability. Just wanted to share here- allergies can worsen your asthma AND make you dizzy!

Luckily cities are finally acknowledging that male trees cause more allergies and I think we will start getting more female trees planted hopefully reducing the massive pollen that is lingering in the air.

Hi @frederica

How are you doing today?

I've never heard of dizziness related to allergies, but I guess that makes sense when you explain it as a symptom of a clogged ear. Let me tag a few other members to see if this is a common symptom they experience with allergies along with asthma.

@BUSTERDOG1 @Coach9015 @jojackjoseph @Suzanne @Jan160261 @Diamondartcrazy @Jobritner70 @MrsGlass @Dollysandameliasauntietj @Kaz198514 @Dulux1963 @Chrisstina @OliviaWest @dianalawson @Jacquelineg46 @Katrinagonsalves @Littlebelle @Emmalou1987 @thejoyboy @Taylrt @Zsuzannah @JASnoding @Tweeky18 @Snazz67 @Capend @JulieTaylor

Do allergies aggravate your asthma? Do you also feel dizzy? Has a doctor ever told you they could be related? What do you do to relieve your symptoms?

Take care,

Lizzi from the Carenity team

My dizziness is caused through bending and getting up to fast, the same as my wife but mine is a recent development. I feel that mine is age related rather than anything else so no experience of allergy related conditions!
