No, I have never been in receipt of a cyclothymia but I am disabled by an autistic spectrum disorder and a learning disability and dyspraxia and spine malformation, borderline, which causes my mobility problems for which I use a disability walker for my walking. Yes, I identify with some of the cyclothymia symptoms, too, I am very shy and a bit nervous about talking to strangers online. I am a bit of an introvert. P

Hi everyone,
Cyclothymia isn’t always easy to spot or talk about. It’s often described as a milder form of bipolar disorder, marked by emotional ups and downs that can feel exhausting, confusing, or isolating. One day you might feel more energized or upbeat than usual, and other days, things feel heavier, slower, harder to face.
Because the mood changes in cyclothymia aren’t as extreme as in bipolar I or II, many people live with it for years before getting a diagnosis, sometimes brushing it off as just being “too sensitive” or “a bit volatile.” But it’s a real condition that can deeply affect your quality of life, relationships, and self-esteem.
So, we’d love to hear from you:
Have you been diagnosed with cyclothymia? What helped you get to that diagnosis, or what made you suspect it in the first place?

If you feel like sharing, how does cyclothymia show up for you in daily life?
Your story could really help others feel less alone and more understood.
Take care,
