I suffer with ptsd low mood depression and anxiety because of all the trauma I have had to live through in my life I feel tired get very low headaches can't find it easy to sleep I have has so many life threatening illnesses, sometimes I can't seem to concentrate, find it hard to forget things that have gone on in my life 3 broken marriages one was living in fear being used as a punch bag, my 2nd marriage was for him to get a passport, so that was a marriage of convenience, 3rd marriage was controlling, of my life used so he could take my money my home stop me from having friends, watching TV eating what I wanted had to ask if I wanted to go into the fridge and was put out of my home and lived on the streets plus in my school days I was bullied all through my school life from the age of 6 till I left school, then I went through all my illnesses it's been hell now I have a fantastic 4th husband my rock my soul mate but I can't be a proper wife to him because of all my illnesses but if it wasn't for my wonderful family I wouldn't be here today but all the trauma I have had it doesn't help now my illnesses are causing my life to be hard to live with I have emphysema copd, angina, this is making hard as I have gaul stones in my bile duct but I can't have a operation as it will be life threatening as they are having to inflate my stomach but that can affect my heart and my lungs so I am having to cope with the pain with medication but if it does get unbearable then they are having to find another way of getting them out, that and all the other illnesses it's really hard to cope with the trauma of all the other things that are going on, I am in remission with breast cancer I have been clear 7yrs but I still find it hard at times, with all the other things

Hi everyone,
The mind-body connection is powerful, and for many people, emotional pain doesn’t just stay in the mind. It can show up in the body through fatigue, tension, inflammation, digestive issues, or flare-ups of chronic illness.
