i don't have kids but my mother is 100% a textbook narcissist and we're no contact because of it. i try not to think about how i probably wouldn't even have bipolar myself if she had gone to a therapist back when i was growing up. it sucks so much because she is seeing one now and sprinkling therapy speak in every conversation and it makes me so mad.
