Hi @fourwinds, thank you for opening this discussion. Let me tag some other members who can possible share with you!
Hello everyone, how are you today? 😊
Do you know if air purifiers or air filters can help with COPD? Have you used one yourself? Has it helped you breathe easier? If so, can you recommend a particular model or device?

From the amount of dust they collect I'm sure they help clean the air I breathe. I have just ordered another for the bedroom. I have paid under £100 for each and they work well. More expensive machines presumably work. much better.

Hi everyone,
I thought I'd bring this discussion back because it's a question many people with COPD ask, especially as pollen season, wildfire smoke, or poor air quality can make breathing more difficult.
Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences. It's interesting to see that several members felt air purifiers made a noticeable difference at home, while others were still considering whether they might be worth trying.
I'd love to hear from some of our newer members:
- Have you tried using an air purifier or air filter at home? If so, did you notice any difference in your breathing or COPD symptoms?
- Have you found they help during pollen season, periods of poor air quality, or when spending more time indoors?
- Besides an air purifier, are there any other changes you've made at home that have helped you breathe more comfortably?

Everyone's experience with COPD is different, so hearing what has or hasn't worked in everyday life can be really valuable for others who are thinking about making changes to their home environment.
Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

Does anyone know if air filters or purifiers help COPD? With spring on its way I thought maybe it could help with the pollen...
