@Michaela50 Hello,
I am very sorry to hear about your predicament, it is dreadful and completely disheartening when we feel let down by our doctors. I am sorry i have no advice for you, just to say that my husband suffered similarly with being diagnosed too many steroids without being told the potential side effects.
I feel our doctors are overworked on the NHS and it causes a lack of care because they can't concentrate fully on their patients. Have you gone back recently?

I have been keeping myself well for the last 16 months and was accepted for lung volume reduction surgery at the Royal Brompton Hospital, I have just came out of hospital after having a mild attack but ended up having to stay at my local hospital for 6 weeks as I was given an overdose of of blood thinners in my stomach which caused a large hematoma Plus a clot on the left lung. I tried on numerous occasions how to tell a Pacific doctor I was suffering from pain and very bad discomfort but was told basically it was all in the mind until will.i.am passed out going to the bathroom only then I was told I have the hematoma I was also told by the same doctor that I should come straight off of steroids which I've been on for 6 weeks previously. In a nutshell I have now now got to work myself up for the surgery again as they will not do the procedure on the right lung knowing I had a large hematoma and a blood clot on the left lung I feel very let down and wondered if anybody else has suffered the same problems that I have I'm really a loss at the moment. 😭
