Hello everyone,

How are you today? I thought I would open this discussion to talk more about life with a digestive disorder! emoticon cute

In your opinion, what is the most difficult or frustrating part of living with a digestive disorder? Is it constantly having to cancel plans or search for the toilet, is it the pain or discomfort, or is it not being understood by others?

I suffer from many food allergies and have to watch what I eat.

I've had digestive problems for several years now, but am just given Lansoprazole to help with stomach acid and heartburn.

I get terrible stomach pain also, but find Buscopan relieves it for a short while.

The hardest things for me are always having to know where the nearest toilet is and always having to scrutinise food labels.

I've been unable to tolerate solid food for most of this year so am existing on meal replacements but I even have to be careful to check medications as I react to some fillers.

I'm getting really fed up of the constant pain, bloating and other symptoms. I miss food so much.
