Hi everyone,

Endometriosis is often called an “invisible” condition, but for many, the pain and fatigue are anything but. What makes things even harder is how long it can take to get a proper diagnosis. Some wait years. Others are misdiagnosed again and again.

  • How long did it take before you were officially diagnosed?
  • Did doctors listen to your symptoms early on?
  • What advice would you give someone still looking for answers?

Your story could help someone feel less alone, and more prepared to push for answers.

It took well over twelve years for my diagnosis- with going backwards and forwards to the GP more times than I can remember- being told - it`s normal, it`s IBS, there`s nothing wrong; until around twelve years later after all of that and they did discover the truth of Endometriosis - Stage 4.
