Hi Carenity,

I am faced with a challenge- I have been in so much pain caused by my endo. I really want to get surgery but the NHS wait time is almost 2 years! Do I continue to suffer or do I spend £7,000 on private surgery?

Has anyone else gone this route?

Hello @Mina145! How are you feeling today?

Thank you so much for starting a discussion on this topic. I'm very sorry to hear about the pain you've been suffering from. It is extremely important to consult your doctor first regarding whether you should wait or if the surgery needs to be performed immediately in order to not worsen your condition.

I'll go ahead and tag a few members of our community that I feel might be able to help answer your question better:

@Emily7798 @Jempin @Pennylein64 @Gemmcn7 @Spoonie_51 @Traceyaa @spwrtng @esw048 @slousa @Tracy-mack @Louise84 @Mblyth @nikki77 @Spottypants @Lulubeans @CJames @marhan20 @imanusardi @CandiceT

What do you recommend? Did getting the surgery significantly improve your quality of life?

Take care and have a great day,

Somya from the Carenity team
