Hello, since I have this condition it has been hard to keep a job. When I was first diagnosed I was in one, but I started taking days and eventualy my boss terminated my contract, because he said he couldn't have someone that wasn't there half of the time.

Now I found another job, it doesn't take much time or energy, but I need the money. The problem is that I am having trouble again with not showing some days...

Does anyone have advice?

This could be an interesting topic for discussion! How about sharing your own story?

How have your professional life changed since the diagnosis? Did your relationship with colleagues and your boss remain the same?

Have you ever applied for any benefits?

I have been off work since July this year having been diagnosed with spms. My Union is trying to negotiate reasonable adjustments to my nursing role. I am coming close to the end of half pay and wondered if work can not sustain my role what benefits I may be able to get?
