Life is very stressful indeed, and apart from all the stress that surrounds us (work problems, relationships...) theres anxiety caused by psoriasis. I stress about the treatment, about flare ups, about my ugly skin.. and honestly I don't know what to do about it. any iddeas?

I'm suffering from a major flare-up. I'm supposed to get married in 2 months and I think the stress of the big day is what triggered it. Sometimes I get so tired of this! Does anyone else find that meditation helps (stress reduction)?

Hello everyone, if you haven't seen already, we've just published the testimonial of a Carenity French member living with psoriasis. She focused on managing her stress through alternative therapies and medicines! I'll link the article here:
Psoriasis: "I got through it thanks to alternative medicine!"
What do you think about her approach to treating her psoriasis? Have you tried any alternative therapies to help manage your stress? What have you tried? What has worked the best for you? Feel free to share here!

@Courtney_J Thanks for sharing the article. When I was preparing for my wedding meditation really helped me keep it together. I tend to stick to the medications my doctor prescribes but I'm not opposed to complementary activities to help with my triggers or some of the other symptoms.

@upanddown Hi, I thought I'd share with everyone because it's really helped me recently. My niece introduced me to an app called Headspace for meditation and relaxation. They have lots of guided meditations and they really teach you how to meditate. I tried meditation many years ago but couldn't get into it, but this has really helped. I'm doing the free trial right now and it's been great for an amateur like me. :)

@happypanda And you don't fall asleep doing it? I've seen that kind of stuff on telly from time to time and I can just picture myself dropping off after a few minutes!

Have you noticed that during stressful situations your psoriasis symptoms become aggravated? How do you cope with this? What do you do to reduce your stress and to limit its impact on your condition? Yoga? Sport? Meditation?
Thanks in advance for sharing your tips!
