Hi... I'm just wondering. I've been tampering with getting a tattoo for a while on my inner arm I have a clear spot, my question is does anyone else have a tattoo with psorasis and have you had an outbreak in the area your tattoo is? How had it affected that area? Also did you suffer another outbreak of psorasis from receiving a tattoo

Thanks in advance Liam

@Rhodesy99 Hello Liam, thank you for starting the discussion, hopefully other members will be able to help you. It could be worth giving your dermatologist a call as well, they would have a lot more insight into your specific condition :)

Hello! I have multiple tattoos, at one point psoriasis really did effect one of them on my lower back quite bad, I used dobobet prescribed by the doctors and have not had an issue since! I’ve had more since that one and I have been fine, I just make sure I keep it moisturised constantly.

Good evening, I'm looking for alittle advice really, I've suffered with psoriasis my entire life, one thing I've always wanted was a tattoo but never had the opportunity to have enough clear skin to make it happen.  Recently I've been put on a treatment plan called stelara which has seen my psoriasis decrease significantly over the last couple of years.

What effect would getting a tattoo have I've seen it could have more flare ups ect would getting one be a wise move or not? If I went ahead I'd get one decent one and probably leave it at that but I don't know enough about it and hoping others here have had tattoos and been fine

Hello everyone,

How are you today? Have you seen this discussion?

Do any of you have any experience with tattoos and your psoriasis? Is it safe for people with psoriasis to get a tattoo? If you've gotten one done, what was your experience like? Is there anything to know or to be taken into consideration?
