What is your psoriasis story? Let's share!

@Courtney_J Hi Courtney, I was diagnosed in my late teen years after having strep throat. I have plaque psoriasis on my arms, underarms and backs of my knees, and sometimes on my hands too. I really struggle with the itching and burning, it's just so painful. I think I've noticed that stress is a really significant trigger for my flare ups, I got married in December and the stress from all the planning and then the Christmas holidays afterwards fueled the worse flare I've ever had in my life! I'm currently taking Humira and it's doing its best but i'm open to try other things. Hope you all are well, I'm always available to chat if anyone wishes! 

@Courtney_J @upanddown morning to you both. i always had dry and sensitive as a girl and with time i developed scalp psoriasis. i was really embarrassed about it for years because my hair would often fall out from my itching at it and it was just unsightly. i'd often get comments from people if i didn't wear a hat. i'm more accepting of it now as an adult, but when i'm in a flare it's still difficult.

oh and i'm taking methotrexate for it, which works rather well. :)
