I had a bad attack of IBS, lost almost 2 stone in weight and my diet change. I became aware my blood sugar had dropped, this confirmed by my blood sugar. I contacted my GP who agreed to reduce my medication, so far so good. The weight loss was one of the key factors.

I am glad that you have been able to reduce your meds.  I had terrible side effects after taking metformin, I found Chef Cynthia Louise online, she encouraged to to eat a plant based diet. The weight just fell off me and I am not diabetic anymore GP can,t believe the results I had.  I have not been signed off by the GP.  I still attend diabetic clinic.
