can I ask does anyone suffer with burning. It is inside as though my bones and blood are on fire. I am in soooo much pain with this. A this part to do with MS (only just been told that they suspect I have ms) it is hard to see the same doctor twice in my surgery and getting told different all the time. To be honest I sometimes think they do not believe me. This on top of my depression is hard to cope with. My friend has locked away my medication she comes and gets it when needed as she caught me about to do something stupid when walked into my house last week, Does anyone else on here think the doctor does not believe them. Also if anyone has the burning and knows how to calm it down I would be grateful of any odea's

thank you AndraScouse

Has anyone any thoughts on the news about Prostate Cancer being treated by a fungus they have found under the deepest part of the sea. I don't think it will be available for many unless you can afford to pay for it so I really think it gives people false hope. I know news like this has to be reported on but I wish they would think about what it does to sufferers and their families. Blueyonder

@julesnw106 I know exactly what you mean as my husband suffers from neuropathy more often associated with diabetes. My husband doesn't have diabetes and the doctors found it difficult to make a diagnosis. However he has had pregabalin diagnosed and this helps to a certain extent. He still suffers a lot with what he refers to as his hot feet. There seems to be a mixture of pain together with the heat which can affect different parts of his body. Having said that he doesn't let it get him down, depressed and has devised various coping strategies. Hope this helps. Liz

Hi, sounds like a neuropathic pain to me.

Following a Stroke I have this constant, chronic deep pain, (like a cold burning after walking through snow) in head, face and all of right side of body, especially so down leg - down to saddle of foot and around the ankle and Achilles heel, plus elbow to back of hand.

Also an itchy back to buttock on right hand side plus delayed response to temperature and skin damage pain. I'm taking Gabapentin which does not take pain away but just takes the edge off it. Doctor has tried all sorts of things, including morphine but doesn't touch it. Same with acupuncture - no effect.

Best strategies seem to be to do something, trouble there being onset fatigue or some meditation, which I got from doing some "yoga for relaxation". Trouble there being time out that it takes................

@AndreaScouse I suffer from major burning and pain inside. Some times its random the pain feel like its bone tissue and tendons. If your feeling pain like your muscles and tendons or viens being pulled, you need to look at Fybromyalgia too. I have MS and Fybro. I been sat with hammer before trying to hit my legs the pain got that bad. X

I had suspected MS / ME etc etc . Eventually diagnosed correctly with Phaeochromocytoma/Paraganglioma which were removed. [tumours/cancer of adrenal gland.1 of my symptoms was feeling that burning up inside and about to spontaneously combust any moment. I am fortunate not to have depression as always look on the bright side, positive attitude. Even more so now as glad to be still alive. I would get your doctors to consider Phaeo possibility, often mistaken for other conditions and symptoms can vary widely. Certainly not what they will have read in training! Take care
