Biologics, or biological drugs, are innovative medications derived from living organisms (humans/animals/microorganisms), compared to ordinary medications that are chemically synthesized.

Have you already been treated by this type of medications? If yes, don't hesitate to give your feedback and let other members know if it went well or if you had to change to another treatment.

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience! emoticon wink

ime sorry to have to tell you this but not many people actually know about BIOLOGICS treatments because when you visit the doctors or dermatologists the information is not freely openly given if it is small patches  they try the creams see if they find one that works if they dont its the oral drugs like cyclosporin and acitretin or methotrexate sometimes they try the coal tar baths or light treatment .but if you are covered 80% of your body then they mention these Biologics .i guess its like a lottery as to which they guess which treatment will work for which person because everyone is different .

I had humira for 6 months and they worked really well. Unfortunately the effect started to wear off. Because I live in Wales they would not prescribe them for me. I would go back on them tomorrow if they let me.
