Hiya, my mam aged 74 is receiving radiation for lung cancer .  She has a pacemaker and defibulator turned off during the treatment and then put back on.  When she comes home after she gets very cold, especially hands and feet, slightly nausea and headaches.  Does anyone know why this happens?

Hello @Itadee01‍

I'm in a similar situation. When I asked my oncologist about it, she said it was likely due to slow heart rate which causes less blood to reach the extremities of the body like the hands and feet. I hope your mam is doing better since you wrote this.

Hello @mrjerry55‍

Thank you for sharing your experience. Has it gotten any better since? And does anyone else have experiences with this phenomenon?

I have stage 4 breast cancer. Initially on palbocilib and letrozole. Had 2 cycles, treatment stopped due to C. DIFF. I wonder why my oncologist did not give me radiotherapy. I was in a lot of pain too.
