Hello everyone,

One of our American members shared her story about using a Daith piercing as an alternative therapy to the crippling migraines that she was experiencing as a side effect to her MS. You can read her testimonial here to find out more.

Daith piercings are piercings on the inner cartilage fold that are supposed to hit a pressure point which relieves the pain caused by migraines. It seems to have a fifty/fifty success rate with a lot of people stating it works like acupuncture.

Have you tried this treatment? Would you be interested in it? Have you heard of anyone else trying it? Let us know :)

My sister who has MS has recently started having migraines that are really debilitating. We were just talking about this and may look into it for her, or at least into acupuncture. We're not sure if she could add another medication for the migraines since it may interfere with what she takes already. Has anyone else tried this or acupuncture?

@stephanyJ Hello stephanyJ, thank you for relaunching this discussion! I think many people turn to alternative treatments like piercings or acupuncture when they feel they cannot add another medication to their prescriptions. Let me tag some members who maybe have tried this or acupuncture?

Hello members, I hope you're all well. Have you heard of Daith piercings used for MS treatment? Have you considered alternative or complementary treatments for your MS like acupuncture, massage or even piercings? Would you get one? Have you had any good results?
