I have been using a needle less acupuncture pen for pain in my hands.wrists and tennis elbow and It has given me very good pain relief. You can buy them in different prize ranges, mine is under £20 and you have to use it with something like Ky jelly to improve contact and effectiveness.I can’t use to much strong pain killers due to my work, but I have been using Robaxin 750 mg for most of my severe pain.Yoy can get this on prescription if your Gp is happy to prescribe it.It is very strong and they advice you not to drive if you have taken it.so I only take it during more quiet times of my shift  when I know I don’t have to make any clinical decisions.I am a nurse ,but due to my health I had to change my job away from a hospital setting.

@Mary-Ann Hello Mary-Ann, thank you for your comment. There's lots of great information here. Do you feel any pain when you apply the needle-less acupuncture?

Just to let you know, there is a fact sheet on Robaxin-750. If you have time, feel free to leave an opinion on your treatment by clicking on the link below.

@Mary-Ann This is very interesting, and it really works for the pain? I've never tried acupuncture but I've been curious about alternative medicines and if there's a version of it that is needle-less, even better!

I have severe problems with both my elbows ,my hands, wrists ,lower ,top part of my arms.I do take Robaxin and sometimes if need be also Pregabelin for severe pain. The needle less acupuncture pen used with contact gel like ky jelly relief  really helps a great deal with severe pain ,especially a nerve ending irritating pain ,like the pain with a burning sensation ,I get in my arms ,hands, elbows and shoulders. This pen also help with other problems like migraine, sinus and a lot more other medical issues.Ir comes with a diagram and proper instructions to use it.You can’t use it without the contact gel ,it won’t work.It has different settings. It is not painful to use it ,it does cause a strange sensation where you use it ,a warm feeling and you can see some movement on your arm fir instance where it triggers the nerves to contract ,more or less like a tens machine.I find it helpful.I don’t use any other painkillers than Robaxin or Pregabelin and I can’t take the full dosage when i am working  ,because it will have an influence on my clinical judgement. Now that I am in isolation due to being at high risk  of getting the virus ,I have more pain and I am using more pain killers and the pen more regular.
