Hello everyone,

How often do you do blood glucose testing? And has the frequency changed over time?

Good day to you all,

Marina

In the beginning I tested it all the time, to get an idea of the reactions. Also I was scared about hypos! But now, years later I am pretty relaxed. I have found a good rythm and know when and what to eat.

Hi,

My doctor didn't recommend that I check my blood glucose levels at home. But I feel more comfortable knowing that I can, so I do it regularly. I think I would get stressed if I couldn't check it! Does anyone not check theirs? I'm curious how they manage...

My blood glucose level is very unstable even though I keep to a strict diet, so I need to do the testing with every meal. I am struggling a bit with this, because I feel that I am doing everything I can to stay healthy, but even so my levels are unstable. It can be quite discouraging at times.

hi @petemax‍ did he give you the reason? I know this is not uncommon but I also know it is our right to have them so I think you should talk to your gp or somebody else about this
