Hey Somya! 😊I’ve been trying an NHS weight-loss programme, and it’s been a mix. Some small changes really helped, but other things felt hard to stick with long-term. I think remission is possible for some people, but it can feel like a lot of pressure at times. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

@madeleine09 Hey! 😊 Thanks so much for sharing your experience, it sounds like you’ve really given it a thoughtful try. It’s completely normal for some changes to feel easier to stick with than others, especially over the long term.
You’re also right that the idea of remission can sometimes feel like a lot of pressure, and everyone’s journey looks a bit different.
I’d love to hear from others as well, has anyone else found certain approaches more sustainable than others?

You may have heard more about “remission” recently — especially with NHS programmes focused on weight loss. Some people are able to bring their blood sugar levels back to a non-diabetic range… but experiences vary a lot.
For some, it feels hopeful. For others, it can feel unrealistic or even frustrating.
💬 Let’s talk about it openly:
