Hello everyone! How are you doing today?

Type 2 diabetes treatments are changing: ranging from oral medications and injections like Ozempic, to insulin, and even lifestyle-based approaches involving diet and exercise.

Some patients advocate for a more natural and individualized strategy, while others worry about side effects or the high cost of newer treatments.

👉 Do you think current treatments for type 2 diabetes are well-suited to each person’s needs?

👉 Have you ever tried or considered an alternative or complementary approach to your treatment?

👉 In your opinion, should patients’ preferences play a bigger role when choosing a treatment plan?

Well I am taking Semaglutide the oral pill of Ozempic which has brought down my blood sugar levels and caused a weight loss of over a stone without diet. In fact I have ate more chocolate, sweets and crisps because my body craved it throughout the period. I not a great sweet person but my blood sugar levels remained very low bordering on to low at times. I can see why the government/NHS are looking at these types of drugs being a game changer and may be the ideal answer to young people now falling into the trap of diabetes!
