I'd recommend having your clothes pulled out the night before so you can easily change into them in the morning. I also recommend you pack a back of treats and a drink. You may also wish to pack a phone charger if you're going to be on your phone whilst it's going through, so you can easily watch/read stuff on your phone to help pass time. I also recommend you not getting worried if you fall asleep during the infusion, because the antihistamine you get before the infusion starts is also part of sleeping pills! The nurses aren't worried if you fall asleep during the infusion. You also get a shot of methylprednisolone as part of your premeds, which may increase the amount of mobility you have after the infusion. Don't be afraid to take any mobility aids you require anyway.

If you live in the UK, you'll be able to take advantage of the patient transport service. Call them up at least 1 week before your appointment, no matter if its an infusion or an appointment with the neurologist, and be ready to be picked up 2 hours before your appointment. They're also able to get you patient transport back home if required. Make sure they're aware if you need any mobility aids that day, as they're able to take you in a car and a patient transport ambulance as required.

I am so happy being on this dmt! When I first started it, in June 2021, I couldn't go far without my wheelchair, but now I'm able to use just my stick when going places! It's a lot better than copaxone for me, in my opinion, and I don't know why I wasn't started on it in the first place 😞

Just wanting to add: I've not had any noticeable new lesions since I've started it.
